Graduate of Pioneer Career & Technology Center and Bucyrus High School
Before joining the Crawford CCMEP program, Paige was uncertain about what life after high school would look like. She wasn’t sure how she would obtain reliable transportation or navigate important decisions about her future education and career. Through the program, she received support with obtaining a vehicle, exploring college options, and visiting campuses. Her career coach also helped her secure employment outside of the program.
Paige first learned about the program through a friend who had participated and recommended it as a beneficial opportunity.
Reflecting on her experience, Paige shared:
“It has been a really good experience, and I appreciate the help along the way with all of the obstacles that I have faced, along with uncertainties.”
The support she received through Goodwill and the Crawford CCMEP program helped provide direction and confidence during a pivotal time in her life.
“It helped put me on the path that I am following now.”
Looking ahead, Paige plans to attend Bowling Green State University to study sonography and pursue a career in the field after graduation. In the meantime, she plans to continue working at The Willows of Willard.
Paige also wants others to know that the program provided guidance on many topics that young adults and their families may not always have answers for, including education, employment, and driver’s license assistance.
Paige’s Advice:
“If you believe you can or even can’t, you can do it, and the program will be there to help along the way.”
