Good Happens Here: UDC-ERN Success Story
The Union-Delaware County Employer Resource Network (UDC-ERN) is a collaborative initiative that provides an on-the-job success coach to help employees navigate work-life challenges. By addressing barriers such as financial stress and access to resources, the program helps workers stay on track and succeed in their roles.
At Country View in Sunbury, one employee recently found herself overwhelmed with the stress of filing taxes but couldn’t afford a tax consultant. During an all-staff meeting, she learned about the UDC-ERN program and met Goodwill Success Coach, Chase.
Chase connected her with a free tax consultation service and introduced her to additional community resources she never knew existed. The support made a huge difference.
“It was a great experience for me. I did not know that these resources were out there. I always thought Goodwill was just a place that accepted donations and that I like to shop at. But they do so much more.”
