Goodwill Celebrates Impact and Partnerships at Annual Meeting

Marion Goodwill hosted its Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 24th at Harding High School in Marion, bringing together board members, community partners, students, and staff to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and share exciting plans for the future.

As a nonprofit serving Marion, Delaware, Union, Crawford, and Morrow counties, Goodwill highlighted the far-reaching impact of its programs across the region.

The event included the election of board officers and trustees, as well as the presentation of the annual financial report. Special recognition was given to retiring board chair Jacob Johnston and trustees Mike Stuckey and Aaron Rassell for their years of dedicated service and leadership.

Michelle Roberts, President & CEO of Marion Goodwill, presented highlights from the 2024 Impact Report, which included a powerful video featuring three inspiring success stories from individuals impacted by Goodwill’s programs.

A slideshow honored employees who received service pins and celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2024, showcasing the dedication and hard work of team members across the organization.

The Delaware County Hunger Alliance received the Community Partner Award in recognition of their continued collaboration and positive impact, while Heartland Country Resort was honored for its meaningful contributions to Goodwill’s youth programs.

The second half of the meeting spotlighted education and workforce development, featuring a presentation by Harding High School’s Global Logistics III students, led by teacher Dustin Ellis, along with Mayor Bill Collins and Goodwill staff.

Guests were treated to coffee and pastries served by Harding students involved with The Harding Brew. The school’s Work-Based Learning Program was also highlighted for its collaboration with Goodwill—especially the students currently interning with the organization’s marketing team.

The Annual Meeting was a true celebration of impact, collaboration, and community—a powerful reminder that when we work together, Good Happens Here.
