Marion Goodwill Industries is celebrating its new Galion location with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, October 28 at 8:30 a.m. at 304 Harding Way West in Galion.

The new store, which opened for shopping on October 9, gives Goodwill a new home in the Galion community and features a convenient drive-thru donation center.
The October 28 celebration will begin with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, followed by a Halloween-themed treasure hunt inside the store.
Shoppers will be invited to search for hidden treasure chests containing prizes while exploring the new location and, of course, hunting for their own one-of-a-kind Goodwill finds.
“We’re excited to welcome the Galion community to our new location and celebrate together,” said Kathy Wink, Vice President of Marketing for Marion Goodwill Industries. “Shopping at Goodwill is always a bit of a treasure hunt, so with our grand opening happening just a few days before Halloween, we thought this would be a fun way to mark the occasion.”
The move provides a fresh new space for Goodwill shoppers and donors while allowing the organization to continue serving the Galion community. Purchases and donations at Goodwill help support programs and services that provide employment opportunities, job training and other resources to individuals throughout Marion Goodwill Industries’ five-county service area.
Community members are invited to stop by, celebrate the new location and join in the Halloween fun.
