Marion Goodwill is pleased to announce the promotions of Zach Wheeler to Vice President of Mission Services and Beth Mathias to Workforce Development Director.
The leadership changes strengthen Goodwill’s Mission Services team and support the organization’s continued focus on creating meaningful opportunities for employees, program participants and communities.
Zach Wheeler Named Vice President of Mission Services
Wheeler previously led Goodwill’s Learning & Development efforts, where his work focused on developing employees, building leaders, creating consistency, improving performance and connecting learning to the day-to-day work of the organization.
As Vice President of Mission Services, Wheeler will provide strategic leadership for the broader Mission Services Department, bringing together Goodwill’s workforce programs and Learning & Development efforts.
In addition to providing leadership and direction for existing services, Wheeler will focus on identifying opportunities for Goodwill to increase its impact and better serve employees, participants and communities.
Beth Mathias Named Workforce Development Director
Mathias moves into the Workforce Development Director role after serving as a Mission Manager, where she gained extensive knowledge of Goodwill’s workforce programs, participants and community partnerships.
As Workforce Development Director, Mathias will provide operational leadership for Goodwill’s workforce development programs. Her responsibilities will include maintaining program quality, grant compliance, participant outcomes and financial accountability while ensuring programs deliver on commitments made to participants, partners and funders.
The promotions position Wheeler and Mathias to work closely together in guiding both the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of Goodwill’s Mission Services work.
Their leadership will help Marion Goodwill continue its mission of Building Lives That Work and creating greater impact throughout the communities it serves.
